My 1969 Zeitler FV |
My car is chassis number 6. It was a kit-built versus a factory built car. Kits were sold to buyers who wanted the basic car and they built the rest themselves. This car had a very active racing history. Although I did not received any Logbooks with the car, I was able to trace all of the previous owners. All of the owners emailed or talked to me and told me the history of the car while they had it. It was raced at Sebring, Daytona, Marlboro and Summit Point as well as many other tracks.
Here is the list of previous owners. You will see some very famous names here.
Jerry Tootle - Original Owner - Mid 60's to Late 60's - Springfield Va - DC/VA SCCA
Chris Clarkin - Early to mid 70's - DC/VA SCCA
Glen Sullivan - Mid to late 70's – Fredericksburg, Va – DC/VA SCCA
Dr. Lee Talbot - LATE 70's – McLean Virginia – DC/VA SCCA

This is my car when Earl Garret owned it in the 1970's. This is 1973 at VIR. You just gota love that 2-in-1 exhaust.
Here are a few photos of my Zeitler the day I picked it in Atlanta from Rick Johnson.
